In premier restaurant row, a popular San Diegan area known as the Gaslamp District, a small gourmet ristorante specializing in Tuscan cooking opened to massive critical and popular appeal. Sicilian-born proprietor Alessandro Minutella and his Chef and partner, Vincenzo Lo Verso gave fresh ideas to the traditional pasta dishes found in most Italian restaurants. Taking this concept of hearty portions and freshly prepared Tuscan cuisine, Panevino Ristorante and Gourmet Deli was then brought to one of the largest cities in the world, Las Vegas.
The décor at Panevino is very romantic, with a beautiful window view of the Strip on almost every seat in the house. Comfortable booths for larger parties and sectioned off tables give the atmosphere a quiet, yet not stuffy vibe. The architecture is imported from Italy and cost millions of dollars to create. You can get a sense of how the walls and lighting really encapsulate a mature yet charming aura. A full bar and casual dining area are perfect for groups wanting a few drinks before the main course. The view through the large windows is breathtaking. And the staff is friendly and welcoming. One feels like he or she is coming home for a true Italian meal.
Panevino offers a delectable array of antipasti, pasta, poultry, seafood and steaks, all prepared with a recommended wine and accompanying sauces and glazes. The customers are treated to the highest standards at Panevino. The servers are highly knowledgeable in culinary arts, which is refreshing to those new to eating "most embarrassing to the common food diner" lobsters or oysters. They are helpful in choosing a nice wine to accompany a particular dish. Winner of the Wine Spectator 'Award of Excellence', Panevino Ristorante features one of city's finest wine lists. From the old world Italian Classics to California's highly-sought boutique wineries, our hand-selected collection contains over 250 different labels.
